A variety of profiles and panel sizes, versatile side-lap connection options, outstanding acoustical properties, and multiple finishes will provide a floor system that adds value to your project.
Whether it is a roof deck or a floor deck, the labeling of the deck is done in similar ways. Below is an example of what the parts of a designation mean.
1.5VL Composite Floor Deck features a profile that is 1.5 inches deep and is provided in 36’ panels with multiple finish options. It is available in with three side-lap connection options.
1.5 VLR is the inverse of 1.5VL. This profile, available in 36’ panels with multiple finish options, provides the wider parts of the ribs toward the bottom of the deck, which allows a greater amount of concrete to be included in the final deck-slab.

FormLok Dovetail Floor Deck is a versatile and cost-effective deck type used for elevated floor systems. This style of deck uses the unique strength of the dovetail shape to provide significant strength and capacity at longer spans with a shallower floor depth, allowing you to fit more into multi-story buildings. Available in 2 inch deep (2.0D) and 3.5 inch deep (3.5D) profiles with 24.5” panels, this deck type has excellent acoustical properties and fire resistance. The flexibility of this deck also offers unique and effective hanging solution opportunities with the optional Wedge Nuts that can be used to hang heavier loads or to brace mechanical systems. FormLok Dovetail Floor Deck can also be finished in a multitude of ways, helping you create a unique look for your project.
